AN EVENING WITH LORD ADONIS: Friday 8th February 2019
VENUE: Ewen Hall, Wood Street, Barnet, EN5 4BW
Lord Adonis is currently touring the country, listening to people’s concerns about the outcome of the Brexit negotiations and making the case for a People’s Vote on the final deal.
This is a fantastic opportunity to meet one of the leading voices of Remain, to find out where he thinks we stand on Brexit. After hearing what he has to say, there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.T
There is limited on-street parking near the venue. Ewen Hall is approximately ten minutes’ walk from High Barnet Station. Buses 307, 263, 107, 184 and 384 stop very near by.
Do come along and join the conversation.
Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.
Admission is free, but donations towards the cost of running the event will be gratefully received at the door.

NEXT STREET STALLS: Saturday 2nd February 2019
We need volunteers to help us with the street stall on Saturday 2nd February 2019. Come along and meet the great Barnet public and help us keep them in the EU. We always have a lot of fun on these stalls – so come and join us if you can
We will be running two shifts on the stall:
Shift 1: 10.30–12:00
Shift 2: 12:00–13:30
We need three people for each shift. If you can help with this, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, contact details and the shift you can cover.
CB4EU Street Stalls
Every time we stand on the streets of Barnet and campaign we get a positive response. The residents of Barnet did not want Brexit in June 2016 and they still don’t want it now.
One of our volunteers gave us this feedback after the last street stall we ran in East Finchley:
"It was very encouraging and successful. The number of people who thanked us for what we were doing was extraordinary. They were delighted to see us doing something, lots thought it was a done deal and this gives them and us hope, it really is worthwhile."
We are, therefore, going to be stepping up the number of stalls we run and the locations we run them in. Needless to say we need volunteers to help us with them – so please check the Street Stall Calendar here and let us know which days you can help us with by filling in our survey here
